Fashion Terminology: Chic From Past to Present

Recently, many fashion bloggers come across what exactly does the word “chic” mean?
Chic, the word historically derives back from the French word “Chicanery” which describes women who is elegance and stylish, typically of a specified kind.” Over the past decades, it has been popularly used as adjective in fashion iconic such as Coco Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent.

Now, Chic is no specific style in fashion dictionary. It’s all about you and the attitude, as a person that how you want to show yourself to the world. However it doesn’t necessarily mean that they have to wear the latest trend. The chic fashion should be playful because its an attitude the different aspect of your personality and lifestyle. It's all about you. Because the magic of chic style only happened when you are added to the fashion equation. Without the attitude, there are only clothes.
